There seem to be quite a few examples of the 1964 Ford Thunderbird roaming around WNY. This one, seen a few weeks ago in a Tonawanda parking lot, is in triple black, and features a set of wire wheels (not wire wheel covers) which were a $415.20 option back in the day — a cost which included a set of whitewall tires. Surprisingly, whitewalls were an option on all 1964 T-Birds ($42.10). I can’t remember the last time, if ever, I saw one with blackwalls. And I’ve been around for a while!
