RealRides of WNY - 1951 Pontiac

Day 5 of “A Little Off the Top Week”

While researching the 1951 Pontiac Cheiftain for Chopped Tops Week, we came across this very car listed at a 2019 Mecum auction in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. You can see the listing here
We came across the car earlier this summer at an East Aurora Vietnam Vets monthly cruise night at the American Legion in East Aurora. Included in today’s RealRides restyle, among other things, are: reshaped hood and grille openings; custom grille insert; 1961 Dodge Polara spinner wheel covers; lakes pipes; spotlights; reshaped headlight eyebrows; windshield visor; and in the back, frenched taillights, and the license plate has been moved from the trunklid to the bumper. Oh, and that orange paint!
