If you’ve been following along here (of course you have!) you may remember a similar car we featured last month, which like this one is owned by Corey Dickens, who hails from South Buffalo. This 1989 Chevrolet Celebrity CL Eurosport (the Celebrity’s penultimate year) could be seen lurking in the background of some of those photos. It was purchased earlier this year, and is showing a bit over 111k on the odometer of that classic ‘80s dashboard. We can see from the dealer emblem on the back of the car that it was purchased back in the day from Herl Chevrolet, in Goodland, Kansas, which is in the northeast part of the state (about 250 miles east of Denver, Colorado). Today’s RealRide features Chevy’s 2.8L Multiport Fuel-Injected V6. The brochure told us the Eurosport also featured “…a performance-tuned suspension, quick-ratio power steering, larger all-season radial tires, blackout exterior trim with red accent striping, Rally wheels with trim rings (not on this car), padded sport steering wheel, and special identification.” Nice to see cars like this saved.
