Inquiring minds (mine) want to know about the headlight bezels on this 1952 Pontiac Chieftain De Luxe. They certainly don’t match the ones on the cars in that year’s brochure. I did find one other car on the Wikipedia Pontiac page that seems to have the same ones; also a ’53 Plymouth Cranbrook (which doesn’t match the ’53 Plymouth brochure illustrations either) — see bottom photo of both. Just about every other ’52 Pontiac which turned up in a Google search looks like the brochure cars (inset photo). Could these bezels be from J.C. Whitney (or some other such place)? At any rate, today’s RealRide was seen in the summer of 2019 at the annual car show in Point Gratiot Park in Dunkirk.
