One brochure called it “A new kind of sport sedan, with world-class aerodynamics wrapped around family-class roominess.” The 1988 Chevrolet Corsica was named Family Car of the Year for Families with Young Children by Family Circle magazine. So where are they all now? As with most family-type cars, they were likely driven into the ground and towed to the scrap heap. Yet a few, like today’s RealRide seen earlier this summer in East Aurora, managed to survive — a fitting post-family chariot retirement for a car with “…all the virtues of a sedan, modernized for tomorrow, available today.”
