Who can look at this 1971 Volkswagen Type 2 Westfalia camper and not smile? For those of us of a certain age, it brings back some fond (okay, and some not so fond) memories. Younger folks hopefully will appreciate the fact that these old VWs look so much different from everything in today’s new car showrooms. Who wouldn’t wanna load up the fridge, throw a few blankets in the back, and head out for the weekend? This one was seen at this year’s Summerfest At the Sal/VW Car Show held at the venerable Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls.
