The big American luxury sedan wasn’t dead yet when this 1991 Buick Park Avenue was new. Plush as it was, it still wasn’t the swankiest Park available. That honor fell to the Park Avenue Ultra, which at the time Buick called “The most refined 6-passenger sedans Buick has ever offered.” All Park Aves came with (among other niceties) Buick’s renowned 3.8L V6; 15-inch aluminum wheels; and an “…AM/FM stereo Delco ETR® radio with seek/scan, digital clock, auto-reverse cassette tape player and 6-speaker Concert Sound II system.” Whew! That radio is a mouthful! Also gotta love that early-90s era dashboard seen below. We came across this Dark Garnet Metallic RealRide last month in Tonawanda.
