When you attend a regional show, like the 2013 Grand Nashionals which were held in Batavia, it’s not unusual to see a car or two brought in on a trailer. Sometimes they’re being offered for sale and the owner needs a ride back home, or sometimes a from-out-of-town owner just doesn’t want to put the miles on the car to get there. Your guess is as good as mine as far as this 1951 Nash Rambler Custom convertible sedan goes. It’s wearing a current (at the time) Ohio Historical Vehicle tag on the back bumper and a 1951 California tag on the front. The sign on the side window is merely a show placard, not a For Sale sign if my memory serves me correctly. The photo below shows how these cars looked with the fabric top rolled back.
