This 1971 Ford Thunderbird is doing its best to hide behind a building in the City of Tonawanda. Being on a corner though, it’s not too hard to spot it. For MY 1971 the T-Bird was still available as a four-door, but this would be its last hurrah. There was also another two-door offered, the claustrophobic-for-rear-seat-passengers Landau (top car in photo below). Ford would stick to this same basic shape (with restyles) until MY 1977, when the ‘Bird was downsized and based on the mid-sized Torino platform.
