Day 7 of 7 Days of Lincoln…
We happened upon this 1956 Lincoln Capri sitting out front of a scrap yard on the Tuscarora Nation Reservation in Sanborn back in 2009. It was eventually joined by another ’56, and one of them found their way into a Niagara Falls auto restoration shop over the years. Not sure of the final outcome though. The 1956 models were a minor restyle of the ‘55s; a new, swoopier body would come along for 1957, with trendy pointed rear tailfins out back and stacked headlights/road lights up front. Model year 1958 would be a whole other story… and then some!
