Today’s RealRide, a 1969 Buick Skylark Custom, is 65 years younger than yesterday’s RealRide, another Buick, but it doesn’t look like it’s led the same pampered life. Back in 1969 the Skylark Custom was also available as a two-door hardtop, as well as two four-door models: a sedan and a hardtop. All came standard with a 350cid 2-bbl V8 which produced 230 hp. A lesser-equipped Special sedan and sport coupe were the only 1969 Buicks in which you could still get an inline six. We found this one over the summer sitting in a lot in the Town of Akron.
