A quick walk-by would be an easy start to an incorrect identification of today’s RealRide. The Ontario license plate should be a clue though, that this isn’t a Catalina or a Bonneville — it’s a 1965 Pontiac Parisienne Safari. The top of the Pontiac full-size line in Canada, the Parisienne differs (visually) from the U.S. top-of-the-line Bonneville in the side trim (not to mention a narrower track). The Parisienne lacks the lower swath of shiny trim seen here in the black Bonneville photo below, but it does feature a headlight-to-tailgate chrome strip which runs along the top edge of the fenders/doors/rear quarter panels not seen on any U.S. models. We saw this one back in 2019 at the Thunder on the Niagara Car Show in North Tonawanda.
