RealRides of WNY - 1962 Biscayne

A quick check showed that no, satin black wasn’t one of the factory colors available for this 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne, Lol. Chevy said the Biscayne was “…thriftiest to buy of all full-sized Chevrolets!” The Biscayne wagon was available only in a two-seat, six-passenger version while the pricier Bel Air and Impala models could be had with a third-row. With the inline six, the starting MSRP was $2,725 while the 283cid V8-equipped model started at $2,832. We saw this one last summer at a weekly cruise night at the Big Indian Smoke Shop in Irving.
