Day 3 of a week looking at the cars of Lansing…
This 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme might look familiar to you if you were around back in the day. Olds sold so many of these it’s hard to believe someone in your household or neighborhood didn’t own one. And there were so many different 1980 Cutlasses to choose from: base Cutlass, Supreme, Supreme Brougham, Calais, LS, Salon & Salon Brougham, and Cruiser & Cruiser Brougham wagons. The least popular was the Cutlass Salon Brougham Coupe (below) with a mere 965 leaving the factory. Today’s RealRide is one of 169,597 Cutlass Supreme coupes built for MY 1980 — the most popular Cutlass that year as well as many years before and after. We saw this one last fall at the Peek ‘N Peak Fall Festival Car Show in Clymer.
