When I first glanced at the photo of this 1962 Ford Ranchero I thought it was sporting a set of VW Rabbit rims, which would be strange as you don’t usually see front-wheel-drive rims on a rear-wheel-drive vehicle because of their different offset. Looking at some old Rabbit photos however, I came to the conclusion that they’re very similar, but different (bottom of page). So now my question is, do I spend (waste) hours of time searching the internet for these rims, or do I let it go? Your opinion/definitive answer is most welcome! Interestingly, a Ranchero badge graced the front fender of Ford’s compact Ute while the Sedan Delivery (also based on the two-door Falcon station wagon) wore a Falcon badge. Today’s RealRide was seen back in 2011 on Grand Island.
