When was the last time, other than the brochure photo (below) that you saw a 1971 Ford Mustang SportsRoof with a set of whitewall tires and full factory wheelcovers? We came upon this one a few weeks ago in Bemus Point at the Cruise Into Summer Car Show. Back in the day it wasn’t all that unusual to come across something like this, but these days it seems that every Mustang from this era was sold with either some sort of mag-style wheels, or steelies with dog-dish hubcaps. Of course, as per the brochure photo, the whitewalls back then were of the dual-stripe variety. Good luck finding those today!
