Judging from its minor visual imperfections, I’m going to guess that this 1949 Ford F-1 is an unrestored original. Kudos to the owner for keeping it looking like a real truck and not a restored-to-the-nth-degree trailer queen. There’s something honest-looking about these old trucks with their dog dish hubcaps, wooden bedside extenders, and non-showy two-tone paint jobs that hearken back to a time when most pickup trucks were bought with the intention of carrying stuff in the back. (Not sure about the whitewalls, though, unless it was also used for going to church on Sundays, Lol.) We came across this nice old truck last summer at the Fiddle Fest Car Show in Springville.
