Forgive the lack of crispness in the photograph of today’s RealRide — a c1971 Ford Thunderbird. We came across it while doing a Google search for an address nearby to where this T-Bird was parked in Niagara Falls a couple of years ago. It’s not often you see a ’71 T-Bird these days. Probably even less often that you’ll see one in a Google Maps photo. This was the last year there would be more than one model offered, as both the Landau and the four-door sedan would be dropped beginning with the 1972 model year, leaving only the hardtop. The last T-Bird convertible (up to that point) was the 1966 version.
