Just managed to get a shot of this 1960 Chevrolet Nomad as it was about to pull away from the curb at this past summer’s Medina Super Cruise. The Nomad name from 1955-57 denoted Chevy’s sporty two-door wagon; in ’58 it was bestowed upon the top-line four-door wagon — essentially an Impala — where it remained until 1962 when Chevy reverted to the regular series names for its full-sized wagons (Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala).
