Someone correct me if I’m wrong here, but I don’t believe that black vinyl tops were a factory option when this 1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria was new. It does, however, look pretty sharp! You almost never see one of these in white these days, as it seems that most of them are wearing a 1950s two-tone combination. Victoria was Ford-speak back in the day for their pillarless hardtops.
Crown Victorias had a chrome rail which ran over the roof and through the area where the B-pillar would have been. Saw this one at this summer’s car show at Mt. St. Mary Academy in Tonawanda.
