Had to do a little leg work for this one. Was at an outdoor concert on the Tonawanda side of Gateway Harbor last week when this 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible passed by. As I watched it turn into a parking lot a block away I hopped onto my bicycle and followed, finding it parked in front of a local auto parts store. The Grand Prix convertible was a one-year-only offering — in other years (1963-87) there were only two-door hardtops/coupes and (1988-2008) two- and (ugh!) four-door coupes/sedans. Only 5,856 of these drop-tops left the assembly plant. Rare indeed.
