Somewhere, somehow the head honchos at Pontiac decided that buyers wanted something more than a Bonneville, which explains how this 1971 Pontiac Grand Ville ended up at the top of the Pontiac ladder. By 1976 the Bonneville name would be somewhat vindicated, as the Grand Ville name would be relegated to the trash heap in favor of the Bonneville Brougham. This convertible, which was for sale, was seen a few months ago in the Town of Niagara.
