(Day 3 of Orphans Week…) Back when this 1955 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Holiday Sedan was new, there wasn’t a lot visually to differentiate it from lower-cost Eighty-Eight models even though it had a wheelbase which was four inches longer and cost another 600 bucks. Up close, yes; but from a block away your poorer neighbors probably weren’t as impressed as you would have liked them to be. This one was photographed a couple of summers back in Niagara Falls, although since then I’ve seen it parked in both North Tonawanda and the Town of Tonawanda.
