RealRides of WNY

Back before the dawn of the muscle car (which consists of a very large engine stuffed into a smaller and lighter car than what you’d usually expect) there were full-sized cars with huge engines. Some of them still carried on a bit after the likes of the GTO and Road Runner became popular — like this 1967 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport. It was still sporty-looking, but its size and weight were no match for the smaller muscle cars which sported the same engines. This car, seen a while back in Cambria, should in no way be confused with the Chevy SS 427, officially a non-impala (at least as far as badging goes) and available only with the monster 427 V-8 and a beefier suspension.
