If you’re a fan of movies from the late 1940s to early 1950s, you’re probably familiar with cars shaped like this c1947 Dodge Custom, a car which, along with similarly-shaped sedans from stablemates Plymouth and Chrysler, seemed to be the choice cab drivers in nearly every movie of the period. And why not? They were certainly spacious. Imagine though, trying to maneuver one of these things in today’s Mid-town Manhattan traffic! Saw this one a few summers ago in East Aurora.
