(Day 3 of 60sWeek)
Here’s a pretty original-looking (well, except for those black-painted bumpers) 1962 Ford Falcon Ranchero, seen at the 2015 Labor Day Car Show at Niawanda Park in Tonawanda. This was the Ranchero’s third year as a Falcon, having been introduced for 1957 based on the full-sized Ford’s platform. It would continue to use Falcon body panels until the 1967 models (regardless of any photos you may have seen on the internet with a ’66 Fairlane front end) when Ford switched to the similarly-sized Fairlane’s front fenders, grille, hood, and bumper.
