Not often you come across a 1974 DeTomaso Pantera in WNY — or anywhere, for that matter. This one’s pretty special; acquired recently by Matt Serwacki at Lotus of WNY (For resale? Make him an offer. Lol…), this California Pantera is an award-winning concours car. The Pantera was a joint venture between Ford (whose 351 Cleveland V8 is right behind the seats), the Italian design firm Ghia, and the Italian auto manufacturer De Tomaso Modena SpA. Ford imported the cars for sale through its Lincoln-Mercury Division from 1971-73; later cars were produced by DeTomaso after Ford pulled out of the partnership. Photographed recently at Lotus of WNY in Amherst.
