When this 1972 Buick GS 455 was new, huge engines in mid-size cars (a.k.a. muscle cars) were all the craze. Lockport resident and RealRides reader Anthony Clayton has been the owner of this Silver Mist example (one of only 7,723 hardtops made and an original California car) for the past five years. Clayton brought it back up to spec by installing a set of the original factory rims, and those hood scoops are functional, bringing more fresh air into the four-barrel carburetor. Nice!
