Welcome to another edition of RealRides on the Road Visiting Former WNYers. A few weeks ago we drove to Clarkston, Michigan and found this 1967 Mercury Cougar w-a-y in the back yard of our hosts’ next-door neighbors. The story I got is that it’s been sitting in this spot for years awaiting eventual restoration. From here it definitely looks doable — but it's too bad it’s not inside somewhere while it waits. On another note, apparently sexism was alive and well back in the day (below) and proudly displayed in Mercury’s brochure. I wonder how that would go over these days.
