I’m not sure just how many times I’ve driven past this 1963 Mercury Monterey Custom Breezeway over the years, but a few weeks ago was the first time I’d seen it wearing a set of stock-looking whitewalls with wheel covers. For the longest time it was shod with a series of after-market wheels and really wide whites; this is a much better look, IMO. Too bad the Breezeway’s recessed opening rear window didn’t catch on; seems like a great idea. Came across this car (again) this time in North Tonawanda.
