I wonder if one of the U.S. pickup manufacturers were to come out with something as simple as this 1972 Chevrolet Series 10 Custom, if it would be a money maker. Sure, the profit on a new $60K Silverado probably makes something like this out of the question these days, but I’m guessing they’d sell a ton of them. One complaint I hear about new trucks is that they’re so tall a lot of people have trouble getting things in and out of the bed, not to mention the fact that they just don’t fit in a lot of older garages. Were Chevy (or Ford or Dodge or someone!) to market something like this I might even take a look myself. This one was seen over the weekend in Olcott.
