The calendar might say fall, but the weather’s still great for cruisin’ the oldies. Spotted this fine-looking 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe four-door sedan last week in a North Tonawanda parking lot. It was Chevy’s biggest seller that year, with a whopping 380,270 going out the door. With six different body styles to choose from (two-door sedan and sport coupe, four-door sedan and station wagon, and two-door convertible and Bel Air hardtop) the Styleline Deluxe series racked-up over 855,000 sales — all six-cylinder cars, as the V-8 wouldn’t show up until 1955. Pretty remarkable.
