This 1965 Pontiac Tempest Custom has been owned by Hamburg’s Bill Marrero for about 20 years, long enough to have had time to add many personal touches: like the front buckets, console, and grille from a GTO; Rally wheels which he bought oh, so cheaply at a neighborhood yard sale; and a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic transmission which replaced the car’s original Super Turbine 300 2-speed, and is hooked-up to the Tempest’s original 326 cu. in., 2-bbl V8. Riding in Bill’s car brought back lots of good, old memories!
