I’m not sure what they call them these days, but years ago we would have said this 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe was a mild custom. Visible (from here) modifications include chrome reverse wheels with Baby Moon hubcaps, and the removal of the hood ornament and emblems. Hmm… that radio antenna doesn’t look stock either! The color though? It could be stock, as the color chip card for 1951 shows a Moonlight Cream which looks a lot like this car’s paintjob. But the fender skirts (officially listed as Panel — Rear Fender in the 1951 Chevrolet Accessories price list) were an official option — $14.50 for the pair. My daughter Katie, always on the lookout for RealRides, saw this one over the summer in Niagara Falls.
