This 1977-ish Ford Mustang II hasn’t fared as well as the Mustang we featured here earlier in the week. This one is a bit confusing to the RealRides expert staff. Looking at the hood scoop, stripes, and rear spoiler it seems like it might be a ’77 Cobra II. But missing are the side window louvres, Cobra II lettering in the rocker panel striping, and the chin spoiler (understandable given its stance in the weeds). The grille should also be blacked-out. Then again, a lot can happen in 40 years! The fender badge indicates a V8, and the grille badge is definitely from a Cobra. Saw this one (many times over the years) in the hamlet of Pekin.
