This Buick Park Avenue, circa 1988, had many of the posh amenities of the day — coach lamps, cruise control, front and rear reading lights… but it had neither the size nor the horsepower of top-of-the-line Buick sedans of the past. It did however, have a trunk-mounted luggage rack, which, I’d hazard a guess, has never in its life seen a piece of actual luggage. Found this example over the summer in Tonawanda.
