It’s Day 2 of FormerWNYersFindingRealRides…
Today we spotlight this beautiful 1965 Ford Ranchero, seen by my daughter Katie a few weeks back in Seattle. This is probably one of the finest examples I’ve ever seen of a ’65 Ranchero — and I was around when they were new! My copy of Ford’s Buyer’s Digest of New Car Facts for 1965 tells me that the extra-cost two-toned paint combination is Phoenician Yellow and Wimbledon White. Other noticeable options are the Futura-like Deluxe trim package, outside mirrors (two of ‘em!), whitewalls, full wheel covers, and a radio. And the lack of a fender badge would indicate either the 170 or 200 six under the hood.
