By the time this 1970 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight hit the showroom, the flagship luxury sedans from Lansing were actually larger than a Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Of course, they still didn’t carry the prestige of the Cadillac name, but for those who wanted a sumptuously large luxury convertible, the Ninety-Eight’s MSRP of $4,914 looked pretty good next to the DeVille’s $6,068. Saw this nice Twilight Blue example a couple of weeks ago at a weekly Big Indian cruise-in in Irving.
