Chrysler Corporation tried to share the wealth enjoyed by its Cordoba personal luxury coupe by bestowing the Dodge Division with a car of its own — thus, this 1983 Dodge Mirada. These two-door hardtops (a genus getting quite rare by this time) were certainly attractive enough if equipped properly, but IMO sales were hampered by the continuing confusion of Dodge’s mid-sized coupes. Bouncing around between Charger, Magnum, and Mirada nameplates, they never had much change to build a following. Saw this one a few weeks ago in a Hamburg used car lot.
