Their ads called it “The world’s most beautiful station wagon,” and even after sitting in a Lake View field for eons, this 1954 Studebaker Conestoga still looks pretty good. The brochure listed Champion and Commander wagons, but this one seems to be wearing the trim of a Land Cruiser. At any rate, and no matter how handsome they were, Studebaker’s wagons weren’t huge sellers, perhaps hampered by the fact that a four-door model wasn’t offered.
