A pretty big car even in its day, this 1959 Buick Invicta was described in the brochure as having “…the spirit and action of a true sports car” while being “…as agile as light on (its) feet as a kitten.” I’m not sure about any of that, but they got the part right about being “big enough to carry your whole family (with room to spare).” In addition to the convertible, the Invicta series was available as a four-door sedan, two- and four-door hardtop, and a four-door wagon. Saw this one a few weeks ago in Tonawanda.
