Time for another edition of Former WNYers Finding RealRides as today we focus on this 1941 Mercury, seen cruising the streets of Seattle by RealRides daughter Katie earlier this year. This one is the Town Sedan, advertised by Mercury as …the newest big car in its class. Also available for 1941, which was Mercury’s third year in the marketplace, were the two-door sedan, two-door coupe and sedan-coupe, club convertible, and wood-bodied (handmade of selected maple and birch) four-door station wagon. All ’41 Mercs came with Ford’s 239 CID V-8, which was rated at 95 hp.
