When this 1966 Buick Custom LeSabre 400 showed up in the RealRides emailbox over the summer, it reminded the staff (me) of how much we miss green cars. No, not the electric/hybrid kind, but the ones with actual green factory paint jobs. If we’re looking at the paint chip chart correctly, this one is Verde Green… or is it Shadow Turquoise? Darn you internet and your vague color representations! Anyway, this green droptop is owned by Cheektowaga’s Craig Davis, who has restored this beauty to its original specs, save for the slightly modified upholstery, and an upgrade to an overdrive transmission and a crate motor — all of which Craig tells us make for an excellent cruiser! And before the letters start streaming in, no, I don’t think this photo was taken in Cheektowaga — looks like downtown Buffalo and Canalside to us.
