Day 2 of Oldsmobile week…
Saw this nicely-preserved 1965 Olds 4-4-2 last year in an East Aurora driveway, wearing a set of Minnesota collector plates. This was the 4-4-2’s second year, and it was still an option package for any V-8 equipped F-85 coupe or convertible. The 4-4-2 would become a separate model for the 1966 model year; it would disappear from the Cutlass lineup in 1973, but return again here and there until finally appearing as an option package for Olds' front-wheel-drive compact for 1990-91, where it was known as the Cutlass Calais Quad 442, sans hyphens.
